NIB Tamsin line

Phase 1

9/14/23: After finishing my 8th Gen NIB Dali Line, I figured the next thing I needed for my kennel was my very own Tamsin line, bred from scratch. I'd never done anything like this before, so I wasn't really sure where to start or how breeding a Tamsin line even worked. Starting with 16 sets of 16 MuttxDali pairs seemed like the logical first step, so that's what I did.

I was able to get through all of my 1st Gen pairs pretty quickly because I wasn't terribly picky about what I was looking for. This time around, I bred for speed and efficiency instead of specific eye or coat colors.

Phase 2

9/15/23: Surprisingly, it didn't take as long as I thought it would to breed out Mutt features. By Gen 4, I pretty much by Gen 4 I had bred out 90% of all Mutt features, while still keeping some nice coat and spotting variation.

Phase 3

9/18/23: After carefully pairing up my final sets of grandparents, I ended up with these two gorgeous parents for my 7th Generation.

Warsaw (f) x Krakow (m)

I was pleased with both but Warsaw with those blue eyes and selfie lids was just *chef's kiss*! I bred about a million babies but finally ended up with an adorable litter of 5 pups.

Maize (f), Equinox (f), Foggy (m), Bonfire (m), and Pinecone (m)

Technically Bonfire isn't a "true" Tamsin because he doesn't have any visible mutt markings (though he does carry them in his genetics), but he was just way too cute and Halloween-themed with his black coat and orange eyes to pass up!

It was nearly impossible to choose a favorite, but ultimately I landed on cute pie Equinox with her grey eyes and cute little nose patch.

I'd love to continue this line past Gen 8 and add some more eye and coat color variation into the mix, so please feel free to email me if you're interested in a pairing!

Next for this project: adding in some texture, ear, and tail variations!
